The whole of the information seized on Psion are stored on Flash memories inserted in the head of the apparatus and easily interchangeable. Thanks to this system, you can manage several herds on the same memory (10 000 seizures on a 1 Mo memory) or you can have one memory by herd.

Usually the installation occurs as follows:

1) Creation of the herd

2) Seizure of the inventory or importation of the inventory from a micro computer
(text file or Excel table)

3) Creation of the various types of events which the user wants to register in his Psion
The events are of three big families: simple remark, warning (that will be pointed out to him at each call of the card of an animal corresponding to an event of this family), exit (the seizure of an event of this family updates the date of exit of the animal)
An event can count 4 measurements:
ex: SALE, Measurement 1: KG, Measurement 2: Classification, Measurement 3: Price and it will be an event of the Exit family.

4) You are ready for the various seizures : Births, Echographies, Weighings, and all the events you will have created.
